PRIVACY

Your panorama stays yours.

PanoPath is designed so the photo and resulting video can remain on your device throughout the editing workflow.

Local media processing

When you choose a JPG, PNG or WebP panorama, the browser decodes that local file directly. WebGL renders the selected views and the browser’s video encoder creates the WebM output. PanoPath does not provide an image-upload endpoint, cloud rendering queue or hosted media library. The exported video is represented by a temporary browser URL until you download it or close the page.

Accounts and stored data

PanoPath has no registration, login, customer database or payment flow. The application does not ask for your name, email address, location or camera permission. Project state is kept in page memory rather than synchronized to a server. Refreshing or closing the tab clears the active project unless the browser itself retains ordinary cached application assets.

Hosting and network information

The static application is hosted through Cloudflare Workers. Like other web hosts, Cloudflare may process standard request information such as IP addresses, user-agent strings, requested URLs and timestamps for delivery, abuse prevention and operational security. PanoPath carries no advertising. It does load Google Analytics (property G-CHFJDYGC7N) to count visits and to record which editing steps are reached — loading a panorama, adding a waypoint, starting and finishing an export — along with the chosen output size and frame rate. These are counts of actions, not content: your panorama, the exported video and the waypoint positions themselves are never sent anywhere. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and reports approximate location and device information to Google. Any content blocker or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on will stop it, and every feature works exactly the same without it. External links, including GitHub and the creator’s website, follow the privacy practices of those destinations.
